From 5 to 7 May 2026, AdResCanCER held its first Management Committee meeting, Annual Conference and Training School in Zadar.
The event brought together members of the network for scientific presentations, Working Group discussions, strategic planning and training activities focused on gastrointestinal cancers and therapy resistance. The programme included sessions covering all AdResCanCER Working Groups, providing an opportunity to present ongoing activities, discuss future plans and strengthen collaboration across the Action.
A special focus was placed on the Training School, where participants had the opportunity to go through key topics relevant to the Action, including gastrointestinal cancers, biological research methods, sample preparation, mass spectrometry, data analysis and data harmonization.
The meeting and Training School provided an important platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building and networking among researchers and clinicians from different institutions and countries. These activities represent an important step in building a strong and collaborative AdResCanCER network.
