2026 Call for Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) Grants Now Open
The AdResCanCER Action is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 Call for Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) Grants. STSMs support researchers and innovators in undertaking a scientific visit to a host institution in another country, with the aim of strengthening collaboration, exchanging knowledge and developing skills aligned with the objectives of COST Action CA24162.
Key Dates
- 7 July 2026 – Application deadline | | Add deadline to calendar
- Within 1–2 weeks after the deadline – Applicants will be notified of the evaluation results
- 31 October 2026 – Final date for completing STSM activities
Who Can Apply?
- Applicants must:
- • Be a participant in COST Action CA24162 with an up-to-date e-COST profile
- • Undertake the STSM at a host institution located in a different country from their home institution
- • Be actively involved in research or clinical work relevant to the objectives of the Action
- • Provide a letter of acceptance from the host institution
- Priority will be given to Young Researchers and Innovators, applicants from Inclusiveness Target Countries, and applicants affiliated with less research-intensive institutions.
How to Apply
Applicants should first review the STSM Guidelines and prepare the required documents, including the completed Grant Application Form, acceptance letter from the host institution, letter of support from the home institution, up-to-date e-COST profile, work plan and detailed budget proposal.
Applications must be submitted through the e-COST platform.
